This just in from our local tv station 13 in Huntington/Charleston, specifically for the city of Huntington.
19TH == 57 / 36
20TH == 58 / 36
21ST == 58 / 37
Hope this helps answer some concerns. Course these are averages which means it can get warmer or colder.
In 2001 the high and low temps were.
19th -- 57 / 28
20th -- 47 / 38
21st -- 44 / 37
In 2002
19th -- 52 / 46
20th -- 54 / 46
21st -- 57 / 24
In 2003
19th -- 71 / 56
20th -- 72 / 52
21st -- 63 / 46
So yes, it can get cold, but then we're always battling the elements one way or the other. Hot/cold, wet/dry, tornado/hurricane Unfortunately one thing that's always predictable is, the weather

Many of you have been asking about snow!
Well... there is no guarantee. The most I can say is it isn't typical to have snow that late in the month, but it does happen.
In 2001 the last snowfall was on March 5 ---- 1.8"
In 2002 there was a snowfall on the 20 ---- 3.26" (go figure, the same statistical page that shows the low for the day was 46, shows it snowed 3 inches?, ha???) According to Hank's records the 20th was warm with rain in the morning, very wet. On the 21st in the evening we had a dusting of snow, but not 3". His recordings would match the weather service's comments of being a high of 54 and a low of 46, don't know where they got the snow thing :-)
In 2003 there was no snowfall in the month of March.
